Bushnell will instruct on the fundamentals of safety, reading ocean conditions, targeting various species, and successful fishing techniques for our area. Depending on the season, those attending the clinic will pursue rockfish, lingcod, sand dabs, halibut, or king salmon. No previous fishing or kayaking experience is necessary, though experts wishing to familiarize themselves with fishing in the Santa Cruz area are welcome. Cost: $105; $20 off if you have your own Kayak.

Join the Kayak Connection Kayak Club! Right now we're meeting every month to do a paddle together. Our goal for this group is to help people get out kayaking more, meet other kayakers they can paddle with, improve skills, and have fun. Paddlers can either email us at club@kayakconnection.com or check out the chat room to find out more info.
Following the goals of our Kayak Club, we offer a 2 hour paddle every Thursday evening for $15 per person; or free if you have your own kayak and gear. We meet at the Santa Cruz location on Lake Avenue. Call ahead for times as they change throughout the year. You must make a reservation to let us know if you'll be joining the group.
