For the past 15 years Kayak Connection has been working with kids on building their kayaking skills, getting comfortable with the ocean and having a blast all summer long!  Combining education and fun, we offer camps for all skills levels and ages in kayaking, boogie boarding and stand up paddling.  Sign up today and let our professional, experienced instructors give your child the summer of a lifetime! Kids Kayak Camp
If you're looking for the perfect way to give your child a great summer then this is the ideal choice.  Educational and fun, this three day camp will ensure that your child learns the fundamentals of kayaking, ocean safety and teamwork.  Through a series of educational skill-building games, children become comfortable out in the water, learn how to gauge factors such as swell, current and wind to determine ocean safety.  We'll visit local kelp beds for a truly memorable swim among the friendly critters of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. 
Beginner Camp: no experience necessary

Advanced Kayak Camp
If your child is a graduate of Kids Kayak Camp and is looking for more fun and increased kayaking skills then they should give Advanced KC a try.  During this two day camp our experienced instructors will teach advanced paddling techniques while participating in team building and games.  Students will also learn how to navigate a kayak through the surf zone during the beach entry and exit portion of the camp.  Advanced KC will increase your child's confidence in a kayak while enjoying the beautiful Santa Cruz Coast.

Teen Kayak Camp
This exciting two day class will start with a review of basic paddling and rescue techniques within the calm waters of the Santa Cruz Harbor.  Once students are comfortable handling their kayaks, we'll venture out onto the bay for a tour and swim in the local kelp beds.  This class will also include beach entry and exit skills.

**NEW** Stand Up Paddling for Kids
Your child will have a blast this summer learning the fun sport of stand up paddling.  Students will learn paddling techniques, balance and how to read the ocean during this two day course.  This sport is a great way for kids to build their confidence about being on the ocean and their own athletic abilities.

Boogie Board Bash
Send the kids to the beach for an awesome day of fun, friends, games and a whole lot of boogie boarding!  Our gracious hosts will treat the kids to a fun-filled day at Twin Lakes beach while providing all the supervision and experience needed to make the surf a fun place to play.  A quick orientation will be followed by a lesson in ocean safety and surf etiquette.  Then it's time to grab a boogie and hit the waves!
